I finished the 2008 Hellgate 100K (66+ miles) in my second fastest time ever, 14:45. I'll post more about this later, but I do want to say thanks to Sophie for helping pull me through this one. We ran together for about 40 miles. I got a finish I wasn't sure I'd get, and she got a PR!

Neal,
Wow. What a night...and day!! You were the reason I got that PR---your company on the trail and support was invaluable. I was so impressed with your positive attitude throughout and when you left me at the top of Bearwallow, I knew you were going to break 15.
Way to go! And next year I am going to run the Day Creek section in 1:45, just like you. :-)
Merry Christmas!
Sophie,
What a great night! I don't think I did Day Creek in 1:45 this year. Sorry we didn't get you that sub-15. But there's always next year...
Merry Christmas to you too.
congrats. Dude you ROCK!!! It took me longer to run my 50 miler(really 53 miles)it took me over 15 hours. It rained almost the entire time. I sent you positive vibes I knew you would do it. Awesome job!!!!
XOXO,
Catra
Congratulations, Neal!

Stud Daddy, told you that you'd do it; keep the faith and stay healthy; Rock and Roll! Merry Christmas.
