Merry Christmas everyone

I hope everyone got a fun toy or two for Christmas. I got a unicycle. I'm not sure what to do with it yet.

Oh, I also got a nike+ ipod thingy. I'm not a big fan of the swoosh or the apple, but I understand it is a fun training tool, and I'll post a review next week.

In the mean time, check out my "mini" over here to the right (be patient, let it load). Commercialism at its finest.

Run hard out there...

Merry Christmas Neal. And a belated congrats on your Hellgate run. A lot of us were worried with you having to miss Grindstone and Masochist.

Thanks Joey. I'll see you out there somewhere in 2009. Maybe on that new Holiday Lake course.

Merry Christmas! Are you going to be one of those dudes who unicycles on mountain trails? Cool.

Feet feel fine today after an easy 10 miler on trails. I believe it was a post-traumatic stress response to that last 3 mile climb up to the BR parkway trying to break 15 hours coupled with wearing a half-size-too-small Montrail CD's (I normally wear men's 9 and raced in women's 9.5, still too narrow for my wide feet). All is good!

Looking forward to reading about your 2009 plans. Gstone and Hellgate better be on the list.

Sophie,

Glad you are feeling better.

Sneak peak for 2009: Hellgate is definitely on the list. Grindstone, probably not.

Neal, Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas. Your "mini" is neat, but he needs a shave. Maybe when he gets to run, he will feel like cleaning up a bit. Enjoy your thingy and I hope you have more balance than I. Don't listen to Sophie. Try the roads before the trails! Rick
